K. Bhanumathi is the initiator and founder of Balamitra. Working for and with tribals for nearly 20 years she recognized that there is a need for an education program that would combine tribal knowledge with the challenges of modern India. As Balamitra is running more and more on its own she works as a consultant for various issues.
