Formdrawing
Although Formdrawing is a typical Waldorf element it is not foreign at all to our children as they are practising shapes and different forms all their lives. The traditional 'Rangoli' is a kind of mandala and a popular motif all over India.
In Formdrawing this 'natural knowledge' is emphasised by the introduction of mirrored and symmetric forms (class two and three), interwoven and knotted shapes (class four) and occasional drawing of 'Indian style' Formdrawing - Rangolis & co.
